Description: Doing Business with Government – the State’s e-procurement system ORPIN is a vital tool for the Supplier Community and the Government Planner. Suppliers utilize this One-Stop-Shop to engage with multiple State Agencies and Units of Local Government contracting opportunities statewide. Government Planners will be introduced to functionality that saves time during the development phase of bidding documents and accessing Supplier profiles in ORPIN. In this session you will learn; how to look up bidding opportunities, strategies for marketing your services, look up historical contracts and solicitation documents, and understand the dollar thresholds of Oregon procurement methods.
Kelly is the Oregon Cooperative Procurement Program and Statewide Outreach Coordinator at the Department of Administrative Services and Procurement Services. She is a frequent presenter of the power of the State’s e-procurement system - ORPIN for both Governmental Entities and the Supplier Community. Kelly is an expert on cooperative purchasing strategies, and helps government agencies save money and assists small businesses learn how they can do business with the State.
