In this session, Ian will provide attendees with an update on current hot topics surrounding the ADA. The information provided will help both planners and suppliers to be in compliance and identify ways to make meetings and conferences accessible for everyone.


Ian Jaquiss

Ian is the Disability Awareness Trainer and Community Outreach Specialist at Oregon Health & Science University. Ian conducts trainings designed to help foster a climate of greater inclusion for people with disabilities across the enterprise. Since joining OHSU in the summer of 2014, Ian has conducted more than 200 trainings, reaching more than 2,500 people. Ian also helps recruit and retain people with disabilities and Veterans at OHSU. Prior to OHSU, Ian worked in a variety of fields ranging from journalism to professional sports. Ian has a juris doctorate and a degree in English.
