The globally dynamic workforce of today requires meeting professionals to stir multiple pots. Creativity and thinking outside the box are musts. Diversity is about stretching with a dynamic workforce. Being able to work with people of different ethnic groups, different age groups, gender, different sexual orientation, different religions, different thought, and people with disabilities, is key to growth, success, and influence. Diversity affects the bottom line. Becoming a better leader in diversity requires a shift from logistics to strategic. Learning to work through the age generation gap is key. Effective listening and communication skills can help to untangle the knots that arise in diversity related matters in the workplace and avoid potential lawsuits.
