As the new government meeting landscape begins to take form, the option of hybrid meetings is emerging as a strategic planning option. It gives the planner more flexibility and a better chance of satisfying more attendee needs.

But what is a hybrid meeting?  Where do I start? What are baselines, mixers and dedicated internet?

At the November 5th GOSGMP Zoom Lunch Meeting, we will cover all the basics of hybrid meetings as well as real-life experiences.  We will then explore how to make hybrid events engaging and even fun. There will be plenty of time for Q&A.

These are the scheduled panelists:

Planner Panelist: Anne Hallinan, CMP, Owner at Marrone Hallinan Event Management, LLC Springfield, OR

Venue Panelists:  Tim Mongin, CMP, DES (Digital Event Strategist) and Founder of mymeetingonline.org.

Technical Panelist: Jay Holloway, Audio Visual, and Meeting Technology Specialist Partner/Owner at Peak Audio Visual, Brush Prairie, WA

  • Hear a story of one meeting planner who discovered how to create a hybrid event when one was needed! Where to hold the event, who to partner with and how how how!
  • Learn the Basics – the baseline for hybrid meetings - from a Digital Event Specialist and meeting planner.  Which questions should planners be asking potential venues to make sure the group’s needs are met?
  • Discover all the possibilities from an AV Meeting Technology specialist who can help you decide how much technology and tech assistance you need for each kind of event.

From choosing an online event platform to considering drone footage of the beach, you will leave the meeting better prepared to plan a hybrid meeting. Join the GOSGMP Board, members and guests for an informative and five lunch-time experience!

Your GOSGMP Zoom Meeting information (meeting ID, telephone numbers and access links) will be sent to you after finishing the registration process.
